We were engaged by the Hewletts to reimagine their 1975 Mountain Brook estate, transforming the home into a collection of thoughtfully updated spaces with refined architectural detail. The 11,000-square-foot residence underwent a complete gut renovation, allowing us to redesign the home in its entirety.

Set back on a gorgeous, wooded estate lot, the design intent was clear from the outset—to draw the beauty of the surrounding landscape into the home. Natural stone, warm wood elements, and a soft neutral palette create a seamless connection between indoors and out. A dramatic transformation of the front entrance was central to the project, opening what was once a closed and uninviting space into a bright, welcoming arrival defined by stone columns, classic gas lanterns, and a grand front door that sets the tone for the home beyond.

Today, the Hewlett House is fully remodeled to perfection, offering elegant, versatile spaces designed to host gatherings of any scale with ease.
